Safety Net is a short film that focuses on one man’s struggle to hold on to his part of the American Dream. The film follows Jerry Harris as he asks the question – is there a safety net when things don’t go right for you? In October of this past Fall, I successfully kickstarted a crowdfunding campaign and immediately after the campaign concluded we shot for four days (and nights) and successfully captured the images we needed.
You can read more about the project on the kickstarter page or on our facebook page. You can see some of the images from our shoot on our facebook page. The film is completed and in submission for festivals.
Our hope is that audiences that will develop even more empathy for the millions of Americans who have been hurt by the collapse of the housing market in 2008 & 2009.
